A Florida Critter contestant:
- Is a human who identifies as an animal modality. This can be of any species, primal or a fantasy animal.
- Is at least 21 years of age at the time of the Florida Critter contest weekend.
- Be a resident of the state of Florida for 7 of 12 months out of the year.
- Majority of the gear worn during the contest must be owned by the contestant. While it’s not necessary to own any gear to compete, whatever critter image is put forth for the contest, should be the critter that the contestant genuinely is.
- If contestant wins, they must agree to represent the Florida Critter contest if they win for the duration of their title year and fulfill the titleholder expectations listed below.
- Must agree to permit photographs to be taken of them during the contest for the use by the Florida Critter contest. Any hood/mask requirements will be honored.
- Contestants cannot have any sexually related offences on their record. All contestants will have their legal name checked against a sexual offenders database.
Contest Entry:
- Contestants must complete the online application no later than 3/31/2020 along with the $50 application fee paid for through the contestant registration link below.
- There is a PDF version of the application for review prior to submitting the online application.
- All contestants must have a current photo ID with them at the contestant meeting at the start of the contest weekend.
- At that time, the photo ID will be verified by Florida Critter staff and the contestant will sign a printed copy of their application, acknowledging the application as theirs.
